i've been reading up on it and trying to get a grasp before i start using it.
my question is, i'm seeing/reading a lot about adjusting the top vents, when using the wsm i always leave the top vent wide open. what does...
so i just used my et733 for the first time today and noticed the lack of a belt clip on the reciever
so this was my solution - if you can get to an audio place (professional audio for films and tv) buy a comtek clip, it fits perfectly and gives you a sturdy clip (the kickstand still works too)
rub was on for 1/2 hour, if even maybe 20 min - i have them soaking right now in water

except mine are with ribs, whenever i smoke ribs i feel like i'm biting into aluminum foil
it all started on a gas grill, i would foil wood chips and let them go and then my ribs tasted like foil
fast forward 5 years, i just made beef ribs on 14 wsm and i just took them...
