    I usually cook brisket for 4 hours covered in foil at 220 to 250. Then about 6 to 7 hours smoke. I like to use Mesquite.

    It looks like a heavy duty charcoal grill. I like the idea of a door on the front where you can replace charcoal or wood while cooking. If the grill is painted then it will rust. I have a painted smoker that i have to keep painted to keep off rust. Looks like an ash tray under the grill to clean...

    Is it better to place the chimney right above the firebox or at the other end? Most of the ones i have seen are at the other end of the smoker.
