I see most people use Apple wood. Is sugar maple and cherry ok as well? I think the cherry will colour the skin nicely! Is it ok to place them in the drip pan on a rack? I was thinking of placing them in a foil pan on a rack.
My next step is to mount it on a trailer as well as the propane vertical smoker I am building. Thats why there are no wheels. Also adding two grills to the trailer one charcoal and one propane.
I have a hobart handler 140 110v it will weld 3/16" is a single pass. The mig machines will run both wires as long as you buy a machine that has a gas feature. Just leave the gas turned off when you use flux core. Flux core is the same except it is a little more work to clean up the splatter.
