    Nice job! Lincoln makes a good welder. There are all sorts of splatter block sprays you can pick up at any welding supply store or Acklands. They come in spray or brush on. the splatter just wipes off! you will never go without again! best brand I have used is Walter. below is the Acklands info...

    170f it is. 350-400 seams a little hot. About how long does it take at the higher temps? For quarter chickens? What kind of wood do you use on your jerk?

    First Turkey Smoke... need advice!

    I see most people use Apple wood. Is sugar maple and cherry ok as well? I think the cherry will colour the skin nicely! Is it ok to place them in the drip pan on a rack? I was thinking of placing them in a foil pan on a rack.

    My next step is to mount it on a trailer as well as the propane vertical smoker I am building. Thats why there are no wheels. Also adding two grills to the trailer one charcoal and one propane.

    110 MIG Welding Outside Advice -Gas vs. Fluxcore?

    I have a hobart handler 140 110v it will weld 3/16" is a single pass. The mig machines will run both wires as long as you buy a machine that has a gas feature. Just leave the gas turned off when you use flux core. Flux core is the same except it is a little more work to clean up the splatter.
