    i finally go started on my fridge build. Thought I'd post some before and after pics of the body anyhow. I still have a ways to go but hopefully I can have it up and smoking in about a week. Sanded it all down And finally have gotten it painted

    Thanks Dave, I appreciate it I'll definitely hang the door that way. I went with the aluminum for the heavier gauge... It was the same cost as the ss in 22.

    I've started my fridge build...planning on using a pellet hopper and I have a few questions.... What thickness should the door skin be? For Aluminum and or stainless? What are the benefits of using either material? Would 22 gauge stainless steel be too thin? Thanks

    Thanks Dave... I'm not sure if it contained used oil or new oil ... It's at a out of business new car dealership. I'm thinking of turning it into 2 vertical smokers... If I can get my hands on it

    If I were to pick this up, would there be a problem cleaning it well enough to build a smoker? It's about 3' wide x maybe 7 or 8' long

    Yeah, I've read them...Just wanting something inexpensive I  can smoke small meals in and that I  can cold smoke in as well with maybe the AMNPS. I smoked a couple chicken breasts the other day and thought it was a waste to burn so much on just two breasts...they were great though!
