I have to say, it was very tasty. The texture wasn't as tender ss I would have liked but I made two air flow modifications to my smoker wich resulted in a lower cooking temp than I would have liked. That being said, all the meat was eaten and nothing was thrown away so I'm happy and learn from...
As promised, here is the Qview as my cook progresses. I posted the rub recipe that I am using for this cook in the recipe forums so here is the follow up.

I've taken a rub that I have used a bunch and modified it a bit. Cooking a brisket and Boston butt later this week so we will see how it turns out. here is what I did,
equal parts
sweet paprika
crushed red pepper flakes
mustard powder
onion...
I see more than a few people here are in the auto industry. I am a robot/ equipment technician for a major auto manufacturer. My previous career was automotive technician. I love what I do but TONS of overtime, weekends, and holiday work keep me off the smoker.
