    Anyone use wood pellets in their MES?

    Yes. Pull out the loading tube about 1 to 2 inches. I am using a Amazen tube and that is what I had to do. Also I have tried using pellets in the chip tray with no problems.

    Bob,Tony I wonder if spraying the chute with cooking spray would help the chips slide down better. Also I read a review on Amazon that claimed if you wait until the smoke is going good, then turn off smoke generator, the chips will continue to burn on their own. He said this helped with a nice...

    Here is a whole chicken I did using a 40in MRS digital with cold smoke attachment as main smoke source. Cam out super moist and crisp skin.

    Wood Chunks

    Thanks for the advice! I am using a Masterbuilt Dual fuel smoker using propane. When I was using chips, they would ignite after an hour. Then the smoke only lasted about forty five minutes. I was looking to add a little more smoke, hence my switching to chunks. I am still a newbie at this and...

    Wood Chunks

    I was wondering if I can start my chunk burning With a torch to get smoke right away. I am used to using chips but it took to long to get smoke and it only lasted forty five minutes to an hour. Any help would be appreciated.
