My Christmas wish list includes more accessories for the Big Green Eggs. One thing I would like is a BBQ Guru controller. I've read about the 'DigiQ II' and the new wifi controller. I don't actually know anybody who has used one or both of these.

Hi all,
After church today, we put some scrumptious chicken thighs that were trimmed and marinated, some acorn squash, a couple onions, and some sausage/cheese stuffed Anaheim peppers on one of the Big Green Eggs.
It sure was tasty too.

I've made plenty of these boiled peanuts. I buy raw peanuts at the local wal-mart. They come in a 5 lb. bag. They are dry, not moist, and I do not mess with cracking each one. Dump the whole 5 lb bag in the crockpot add water and spices, set it, and let it go. 12 hours later, I can start...

Todays brisket after...
Today, I have a 7.64 pound brisket slowly smoking at roughly 235 degrees. It spent the night in the fridge, enjoying a nice dry rub. Dinner is scheduled for about 8 pm, just after my wife gets home from work.
