    ok - well we didn't soak them yesterday - but then searching the net for some tips - found info saying to soak them -- it smelled really good yesterday without soaking them -- so i guess we will go with that -- no soaking the chips!  Thanks!

    Good Morning!  Jason & Donna here -- we are newbies and just got a Masterbuilt 20070910 Digital Smokehouse.  We preseasoned it yesterday and today - we are going to give a shot with a pork shoulder - boston butt - might even smoke a few veggies from the garden as well.  We got hickory wood chips...
