I've been looking for a reverse flow on Craigslist for a while with no luck. I stumbled on this and thought I could convert it. I should have asked before purchasing it I realize. Can I put a plate in the bottom and move the stack?

I've got a Louisiana and a Yoder. The Louisiana heats up quicker and uses less pellets. I really like it and it's the wife's favorite. I thought the Yoder would be a nice upgrade and it does seem to visually produce more smoke. I can't taste a difference though. It's not even close build...

I agree the tri tip is great off the pellet grill but it doesn't have much of a smoky flavor compared to my stick burner. I like the deep smoke for a few recipes and was hoping for a set it and forget smoker that can give me a deep smoke flavor.
