Well here is my story with my last smoke.....started at 330am.....used my char griller SFB.....started off at about 235....smoked the butt till internal temp got to 160.....removed the butt after about 5 hrs of smoke and put into my MES.....cranked up the MES to 275 gout butt in tin pan added...

I would agree that is a nice looking stand Runt....the reason why I went with the style I built was for having a working area on the side....to help prep and place to put things aside when I need them....also put wheels on it to be able to maneuver around
I agree piney....I have been doing the low n slow methods for the past few years and have success..I use an off set cheap char griller...Have finally got that down....recently got a MES....which I use now during cold months...down side to the MES there is no smoke ring...when your cooking for...
I'm going to ask this question ...should I cook a Boston butt high n fast or low n slow.....normally I do the low n slow method but since watching and hearing from the King of Q Myron Mixon method has gotten me curious about the high n fast method....doing a cookout Saturday and possible time...
The stand is still the same as the picture.....supply list was 2...2x4 by 8...4x8 osb board...1 4x4 8 ft....used 4 2 inch coaster wheels....and brackets for the 4x4 outer legs...hope this helps
I just wanted to share this with everyone ..... I recently purchased a MES 30 electric sportsman smoker.....I went online to look for a stand for this smoker and noticed that they were ranging 60 bucks and above.....went to bass pro shop and looked at one and realized how small and cheap it...
