I'm glad I don't have to worry about flying for work. With the deviants in the TSA, I won't fly anywhere until some of our rights are restored. no way in hell some dirt bag is gonna grope me, or my family. Period.

Those Brinkman Electric smokers only have one temperature setting, ON! Should be in the low 210-225 range, give or take. Do you generally just toss the wood chips right onto the rocks/element? Or do you use a pan or tray of some kind?
I love that your husband got a smoker, but you are doing all the cooking on it! Sounds like the gift that keeps on giving! All my wife does is roll her eyes when I start talking about firing up the smoker!!
Until I get around to getting myself one of these Amazen jobs, I'm making due with using a can with wood pellets and/or chips in it. I might try adding a few pinches of crumbled charcoal to the mix to get a little better burn going on the wood...
I don't know about the MES, but I could see this being helpful with an electric smoker. I have been having some degree of trouble getting decent smoke out of mine, wood chips don't seem to work, the pellets are somewhat better, but adding some charcoal is an interesting idea that I might have...
Finally getting a handle on the actual smoke issue, got decent flavor, and the garage will smell great for days! AND I have a few left for later today!
Mmm mmm, good! So I finally got around to trying these out after my SIL brought over some PP tonight to go with the lobster bisque we had tonight.
Got motivated to start with a few frosty cold beverages..
