    So far so good, I have a friend who is a big chimney fan and he talked me into giving it a try. I did build it with vents in mind, so it will be an easy change if I go that way later.  Thanks!

    The smoke house is almost finished. Just need to finish up the inside racks and build the outside wood rack. It's roofed and exterior sealed. I burnt one fire in the firebox and the inside reached perfect smoking temp's without any problems.

    Sealing the Exterior Wood... what sealant?

    Last minute change of sealing plans... I found Agralife Timber Seal and it looks really good... non-toxic and even food safe.  Excellent looking product with great reviews. I found it on Home Depot's website and since they don't stock it at my store I had them ship it to the store.  Not too bad...

    Okay... I had a change of what water sealer I am going to use. I found Agralife Timber Seal and it looks really good... non-toxic and even food safe. Excellent looking product with great reviews.

    That's what I have been leaning towards. Straight or thinned with mineral spirits?
