    Western Style Pork Ribs?

Reading through old threads and found this. I found a decent description of Western Ribs for those that are still unsure about what they are: There are many varieties of ribs. Most ribs are bone-in, with the exception of country and western style ribs. Varieties of pork ribs include Spareribs...

Smoke Hollow smoker what do you think

I believe I paid about 370.00 for mine at Sam's Club. The SFB does come equipped for wood, primarily due to the type of grate inside. I did fix that little issue. I have really enjoyed mine. I would buy another one due to the flexibility of the grill. "all in one grilling".

Rub for Boston Butt to be Pulled for BBQ

Quote "eman LSU Vs the Tide second verse same as the first" Response: Not highjacking but just clearing one thing. New Orleans is below sea level and The Tide is rolling in! Besides, our kicker will NOT be playing for LSU this time. Last game would not have been close.

Smoke Hollow smoker what do you think

I do have those same problems and in the process of correcting them. The SFB grate is for wood strips rather than charcoal, so that will be addressed. The seals are also a problem so yesterday I stopped by the local auto parts store and picked up the RTV high temp gasket/sealer to make a decent...

I knew there had a be a homebrew portion to a "Smoking" forum!

The winemaking forum I frequent is: http://www.winemakingtalk.com/forum/ That site to wine is like this one to smoking meat. You'll always get a friendly, helpful answers from that group of people. BTW, I'm SpoiledRotten on that forum too. Recipes for any kind of wine you could "possible" imagine.

Smoke Hollow smoker what do you think

I've had this one for a few months. I've used the gas grill for the most part, but just smoked my first Thanksgiving turkey on it this year. The bird turned out great! I'm fixing to mod it some as I've seen on this forum. I just got the RTV sealant for the cooking chamber and will be bringing...

Turkey- to brine or not to brine?

I'm new to the smoking process and to the forum, but I smoked my first turkey this past Thanksgiving. I brined it for about 3.5 days. I injected it with some of my homemade wine, and smoked it for 8 hours (it was a 14# bird). That thing turned out so wonderful. The skin was about like very thin...

I knew there had a be a homebrew portion to a "Smoking" forum!

I know what you mean. I remember getting up in the middle of the night, going in the mud room to watch the bubbles. I've gotten more patient as time goes by, but it was funny when I'd get back in bed, the wife knew where I'd been and would ask how the bubbles are doing. Like the bug zapper and...

    Thermal gasket?

Been doing some searching for a gasket material, so that's why I pulled up an old thread, but it's worth reviving it. I like this much better than the 30.00 nomex gasket material. Both of those sealants make a great idea and is what I'm going for to hopefully solve my problem of inconsistent...

I knew there had a be a homebrew portion to a "Smoking" forum!

Al, it's a very interesting and fun hobby. What other hobby, beside cooking, allows and almost demands that you sample the product all through the process? The outcome of wine making is limited only by your imagination. The possibilities are endless. You can make wine out of almost anything and...

This is it, Roller. I got it from Amazon.com. "Back to Basics N12 Stainless Steel Juicer/Cooker Set" I'm still wondering how long before I can post a link for something without the admin holding my posts. :(
