    Hi guys, well it's been a few years since my build and I am going to my first amateur competition in a few weeks. So I have dropped in to get so rub ideas and thought I would post a few pictures of my finished smoker. It works well and pulls nice, 2,000# with brakes and led lights

    Hey that may still happen, so far I have not seen any "back draft" and the warming box is slow to get hot

    Ok so I thought if that chimney on the end would offer more control, and faster starts, time will tell, and it looks kinda cool . the 6" flue/pipe across the bottom seems to work well, I put a small baffle on an angle that I can slide front to back to allow heat to flow to the front better and...

    Hey thanks guys, we got the smoker going this Saturday and all went really well! Smoker held the temp at 225 over 6 hours without to much playing around, I could keep the air intake on the firebox open about half way all afternoon. We used maybe 4 10" x 16" chunks of Maple split up and a...
