Honestly not bad mouthing the guy. His manner is less then nice a lot of the time when not on Good Eats. He seems to be getting better as time goes by so maybe he is seeing it himself on the playback.
Not sure on the price (my memory for numbers is really bad) but it was a good deal I believe. Once I saw smoked salt I didn't really care what the cost was anyway.
I am Tate from Sacramento, CA.I would say that I have achieved pretty much expert status at smoking. I also bake, cook, and ferment / can all sorts of stuff. My latest is a Kimchi that I made with purple cabbage and I used leek flower stems instead of green onions.
