I know this is an old post, so not sure if anyone will read this. I live in mid Mo. and butts are anywhere from 2.29 to 2.79 per lb. Two years ago I was getting them for .99, sometimes on sale for even cheaper. I see in other parts of the country they are still running around .99. I wonder why...
I have used a similar version of this sauce for years. In my humble opinion, this is as good as it gets. I keep a bottle sitting on the table, it goes well with other things too (ribs, pinto beans, sliced tomatoes fresh from the garden, and so on.)
