Zac, that drum is down to bare metal that dark color you see inside drum is froom cooking spay to season it so it wont rust in there you can still see the shine in the rib areas....Good luck
yes this is the one and yes it worked good for me 2 good burns then a little comet and a green 3M pad and a sponge with some water on it. got most of it off used a wire wheel for the few spots it didn't

Here are some ribs I did on my weber 22 kettle. I did the loaf pan with apple juice over the side with the coals and just dropped wet applewood chips in about a handful every hour that kept a nice easy smoke going be sure to use a small amount of coals and keep adding you dont want to get over...
If your doing all wood smoking many guys that have your set up or brick pits keep a seperate firebox going (like a kettle grill) so that their only adding coals to the smoker firebox in essence their letting the logs burn off all that extra smoke in the other area and when their glowing orange...
