    Thanks, I've done steaks and sides just never bellies. I didn't know if there was anything to be cautious of or different methods. But hey if you can do them just like a side then there is only a limit to the imagination. Ill do a walkthrough when I decide what I'm doing, Thanks again, Myke

    So I was given about 15lbs of salmon bellies, Only issue is, Ive never used them for anything. From what I have read they are outstanding pieces. Anyone have some suggestions and/or recipes? Any help is appreciated since I do not want to just try and ruin them.  Thanks Myke

    I agree, and since they told me that I have stopped all purchases of meat from them. If your in the St. Louis area it is Shop N Save that I was told this by.

    I had that same issue, and when I asked the meat monger about sales I was told we sell too many during the year well just freeze them for later.

    I took it to an IT of 140, put it in the fridge overnight and put it in a convection oven to warm back up wrapped in foil. the drippings made great ajus.

    The slicer should have been bought a long time ago. very versatile. I even sliced everything to make a salad lol. Hasn't bogged down or got hot once and ive been using it alot.

    After steaming for an hour and a half, the results were awesome. I will be doing this again soon. Sorry no picks of it made into a ruben it was too good to put the sammy down.
