I'm looking real hard at the Green Mountain. I have a dealer just down the street and it would be nice to keep the $ in the local economy.
Then I find out I can get pellets directly from CookinPellets way cheaper than on line and pick them up directly from the company. I just need to drive 40...

I'm planning to get a BSK but I want to know if any one has built a wood cart for theirs similar to the carts everyone builds for the BGE?
Is the outside hotter or cooler than the BGE?
I assume that the BSK could be bolted down using the mounts from the factory legs.
I got a 3 pack off eBay and a BGE gasket also from eBay
Order a WSM vent damper replacement kit from Weber at 800-446-1071. It consists of three dampers and fastening hardware: 1/4-20 x 5/8" truss head screws, 1/4" flat washers, and 1/4-20 inch acorn nuts.
The Weber WSM vents usually come in a 3 pack. You can use one for the lid and 2 for the base. All you need is a 1/4 inch drill bit and a 3/4 inch hole saw.
Here are the mods I did to my gourmet, the top vent is from a weber and can be ordered online to seal the lid I used a BGE gasket also available online.
