Pics of my first build - 80gal reverse flow patio smoker..
These pics make it look like crap for some reason... but its coming along nicely! Should be done next week for sure. I took these pictures before working on it tonite, so its a little farther along than the pics show. Obviously the old compressor mount and junk is coming off...- danielh

Permanently mounting a smoker??
Has anybody done this and regretted it? I'm nearing the completion of my build (~24x46 80 gal compressor tank, reverse flow build) and my dad came over to check it out today... My plan since the idea hit me to build a patio cooker was to set this thing on posts in concrete off the side of my...- danielh

Buying ribs by the case question..
The first weekend in May we are having some friends over to the house for a big rib cook. Rather than taking a chance on somebody bringing bad meat over or not get it here in time, etc, I am going to purchase and handle all the meat and then just let them repay me. Dont want to get anybody sick... -
Kroger $.59/lb whole turkeys..
May be a regional thing or something, but Kroger's here has butterball premium whole turkey's at $.59/lb right now. Dont think I've seen them that cheap ever. Picked up 7 of them today, all pretty much identical twins @ ~14lbs each. Should be some good grub! -
