I'm 23 miles NE of Pittsburgh. We're considering attending this event. I have a motorhome so we'll have our own accommodations. Can I get an address or a little more detailed location than Port Matilda for this event?? I would probably drive up I-99. We attended the 2011 North Fl gathering. -Tom
Attended the 2011 NFG. It was a great event. My wife and son had a great time. I was not feeling well but did mingle some the first day.
We've been trying to attend since but schedule hasn't been able to line up. Jerry & Karen are great hosts. I know everyone will have a great time and looking...

We've had to head back to Pittsburgh early this year so Tom, Sandy and Chris will not be attending.

Left Crystal River Feb. 29th. We're currently parked at Lake Wylie in Rock Hill, SC waiting until Tuesday for warmer...
Well......in a way.......we're on our way to the 2012 Official SMF N. FL Gathering. Left PA last Tuesday and will be staying not far from Pineywoods until April.
Also, looks like we'll have 2 other couples tagging along with us for the gathering.

We'll be in Crystal River mid-November for the winter and we'll bring cash for home grown vegetables.
I also owe you and the wife a nice dinner or two at your favorite restaurant.
We did pick a 51 pound pumpkin here at home...
Ham loaf is big here in western Pennsylvania. You can buy it pre-made in pans ready for the oven or buy the mix for your own creative efforts.
My Mom, and now my wife, mix the ground ham with crushed graham cracker crumbs and top with a dry mustard glaze. I love it.

Oh boy, oh boy, that looks great!!
I was just at the Clarion County Fair for 10 days and a group of horse people group cooked every evening. One evening they had smoked walleye. They brought a plate over for the wife and I. It was great with a very light smoke flavor. Looked exactly like yours...
