    Turkey was brined in a  home made maple syrup brine. I put it on at 5:15  using a cajun electric. I put some cherry wood in there and went to the deer blind. Called the wife at 8 am for to check to make sure I was doing ok on my way to 140°. She said "It is reading 164°"  I said "oh my!"...

    Smoking an Eye of round roast

    I skipped the rub and the package pics. This has been in the smoker about 2.5 hours. I used a rub that I got from one of the members here. It is a six pound roast that I picked up for 2.88 pound.

    Injected pork loin

    Pork loin injected with Maple syrup..Real stuff. Then maybe spritz it with some maple syrup and Crown royal. Does this sound do able?
