Please recommend a smoker for powdercoating

I think that'd be too expensive and too big. I think so far the best looking ones pit boss 3 and this masterbuilt one https://backyardgrills.ca/products/40-inch-digital-charcoal-smoker

Please recommend a smoker for powdercoating

Just looked them up but they seem to be pretty small and look like grills. Legs take a lot of room but inside seems small compared to a vertical smoker.

Please recommend a smoker for powdercoating

Yes I'm afraid it will introduce another problem, like melting insulation. Maybe I can powdercoat with pellets lol, not sure if it would cause any issue. It doesn't seem to make much smoke, so maybe it can work?

Please recommend a smoker for powdercoating

The regular stove oven is too small I find, that's why I wanted to go with a smoker. I would like to avoid propane or gas etc and just stay electric. There's an older version of masterbuilt that some use, but they're harder to find and need to be taken apart to add insulation. And it doesn't...

Please recommend a smoker for powdercoating

Can someone recommend a smoker that goes to 400F without pellets? So my first try, I had a masterbuilt smoker that would only go to 275F. It had a heating element, so I assumed all smokers worked the same. Today I purchased a pit boss 7 series copper edition, and looks like it runs on...

    Bypassing the Factory Controller

Thanks so much for this information. This will be one of those rare times that I'm going to listen to someone more knowledgeable than me and take the path of least resistance! I thoroughly cleaned this smoker and wired it back to the original, placed it on the patio. Now gonna go buy whatever it...

    Bypassing the Factory Controller

Was super simple, just needed to Unplug the 2 wires from the relay, and connect them together (I used a car fuse). That's all! Literally took 5 minutes, including removing the rear cover plate for the wires. Now I just plug it in, and it heats up. Also easy to revert back if needed. No need to...

    Bypassing the Factory Controller

I could remove and change the insulation. I just got this second hand for $60 lol. Now I feel to stupid haha. I read the instructions above, and seems pretty straightforward to bypass the digital controller. Now you guys all mention this Auber controller to set the temperature. Never heard of...

    Bypassing the Factory Controller

I purchased Masterbuilt MB20071117 Digital Electric Smoker With the plan to use it as powdercoating oven. Unfortunately it can be set to 275 as the highest setting. Is there a way to install a controller to make it reach 400 degrees?
