If the temp is stable at 3C degrees when it’s not defrosting every 12th hour but rising to 5.5C degrees when the unit is defrosting. It does not matter if the sensor is correct or not. That is a rise of 2.5C degrees that should not be there. My fridge is a more stable.
In them manual it says...
Temp sensor is place in a bucket of water, this enough thermal mass.
When the unit is defrosting temp inside the unit rises to 10-12C over a period of 19 minutes.
The water rises from 3C to 5.5C and the time to go back to 3C is several hours.
