Just got back from the doctor…

Eat healthier like lean meats, fruits vegetables and exercise and lose weight if over weight. Cholesterol does not discriminate. You can be a skinny toothpick and have high cholesterol levels especially if Hypercholesterolemia runs in the family. If that's the case statins can come in the...

    Finished old grill project

Guys I retouched this grill that's around 15 years old. I used Evapo Rust for the small parts and a wire wheel. They both worked like a charm. I only wish I had bough satin but by mistake I got ultra semi gloss. It dries with too much shine I think. Aside from that while it's not a perfect...

What should I use to remove rust from the grill?

I never said that's my way of removing rust with a degreaser if that's why you're out. It's only logical to remove grease before I use a solution. Gator or whatever. Sure the Gator could have taken care of the grease at the same time but I decided to degrease before. My question this time was if...

What should I use to remove rust from the grill?

After I applied Goo Gone degreaser that worked beautifully on the grease I noticed some areas inside the grill had lost some of the paint that was underneath the grease. Since the inside should not be painted is it ok to grill with some of the missing factory paint?

What should I use to remove rust from the grill?

Guys I recently bought a gas grill but I am planning for fun on restoring my old charcoal grill. What's the best thing I could use to remove rust? I want to paint it afterwards. I will be painting only the outside of course. I looked up Rust Oleum high heat paint and some rust remover sprays but...

Anyone have experience with Weber igrill 3 thermostat?

Today I used it for the first time but it is also my first time with gas . I set the gas burner to try to read 350 preheat but went over. I then turned it down but reached lower then 350. I can't find a fine medium.

    Is Weber the better brand?

Thank you. I decided on the Weber S335. I will be picking it up today. I thought I'd cook up fast meals and try gas for once and while nothing lasts forever Webers are known to be superior grills. I will post more once I am in business.

    Gas grill burner settings

Thank you, very useful information. Now if I get a smoke box and place it over a gas grill I should be able to smoke although not with the same effect as the Masterbuilt correct?

With gas burners are you suppose to spray something on the grills to keep from rusting?

    Is Weber the better brand?

I notice in some online pics that gas grills have a lot or internal rust even Weber brand. Is this something that eventually will happen even if it is stainless steel burners? Even the flavorizer steel bars rust.

    Gas grill burner settings

Guys forgive my dumb question. I come from a plain charcoal grill and cooked based on appearance and temperature. With gas grills how do you know how high or low you set the burner say for chicken or ribs? I can understand when it reaches the proper temperature by using a thermometer but how do...
