I would say that you should also check Camp Chef. But, I am quite partial to my Masterbuilt. Masterbuilt now has a model 800, that is a bit smaller than my 1050, and has very cool griddle you can use the way you use any griddle.
Although I love my Masterbuilt Gravity Series Smoker, I also have an RT 680, and have had it for many years. I can say nothing bad about it. And, certainly, the company is fantastic with their customer service.
Well I just been a bit slow getting into the forums for bbq. Doing some St Louis ribs tomorrow. I also have a Masterbuilt 7 in 1 outdoor air fryer. It holds a great deal of capability. Still the best beer can chicken I have ever made.
I’ve got a Recteq pellet smoker and an MB 1050. pellets last really long, but nothing under a grand holds a candle to my Masterbuilt. My Recteq mostly catches dust. I will say I have used it on a couple of reverse seared steaks. But, I finished on the Masterbuilt.
I have been Qing for decades. Been a follower of Jeff for more than 10 years. Finally joining the forums. I have a Recteq 680, and a relatively recent acquisition Masterbuilt 1050 Gravity Series.
