    That’s what I use. Under $5 and my local ACE hardware even puts on a Traeger logo on it for you. My question, does anyone leave their pellets outside even with the lid on and have no problems with the auger?

    When I bought my Traeger the rep actually recommended a welding blanket Instead a Traeger one. I went with a Traeger anyways since I think its more of a pain to deal with while cooking or using the fold up tray.

    I have booth grills but I don’t use the propane one much. I actually use It to store the grill grates when I smoke.

    I would think the species of wood would matter more than brand but that is my opinion.

    What I hear most of the problems with temps are improper cleaning. I jus bought a 22 pro and so far it has worked for me but I treat it like a German sports car and needs the maintenance. But everyone is different.

    New Member from Colorado

    Hello, Im new here. I’m not new to smoking or cooking. Ive had a few over the years. I just bought a Treager 22 yesterday and saw some tips on here already. This is to compliment my charcoal smoker.
