You guys are dead on...I realized that there is always a bit of smoke AND most smoke comes from temp flux...thank you!- Bher

It does seem like the only time it smokes is when it is heating, maybe that’s normal....but that means the majority of the time there is minimal smoke coming out. I guess I always assumed it would be a steady stream of smoke for hours.- Bher

PitBoss 1100 not smoking
My brand new PittBoss 1100 doesn’t seem to be working right... I set it to “Smoke” and P4. Every 20-25 minutes I will see smoke coming through the lid, it lasts for about 2 minutes then disappears. Did I do something wrong here?- Bher
