With all due respect I'd suggest you do some careful trials and pay close attention. From what I've seen in print a 25% loss in mileage is on the low end of the difference between e10 and e85. I've heard of up to a 40% loss. Based on my own experience between e0 and e10 I loose 10%.

Just as you don't know how the Camp Chef clean out works, I was unaware the Pit Boss pot is removable.
With the Camp Chef, you pull the release and then slide the bottom out of the pot. All the ash then falls out into the container I place under the pot. Also, maybe 20 seconds.
From my understanding Pit Boss burn pots do not dump and clean like Camp Chef's do.
Like R H B said, it is a game changer. Simply let it cool down and dump it every time. Nothing easier. I bought a new, empty metal paint can and dump into it and then put the lid on, just in case there are any...
Something I saw recently on YouTube might work.
It's supposed to be an old Amish idea. Make a strong black tea mix, or a "tea" of oak bark and/or leaves. You are wanting a tannic acid mixture. It only works on surface rust, not un-rusted or scale rust.
IIRC the instructions say that once...

Based on this thread I bought an OXO and like it no more than I've used it and I also bought a Good Cook Safe Cut Manual Can Opener. Haven't used it a lot either but like it too and really appreciate the safe cut edges Plus being...
Just found out if I go to the main home page and click on Forums the forums pull down works.
However if I click on, and go to, What's New the Forums pull down header is red and does not work there either, just like when I'm on the forums page.
ETA - The Forums drop works fine on the articles...
At the top of the main forums page to the right of the Smoking Meat Forums there are the drop downs.
The Forums drop down is red(for me) while the others are white on the version of the page I'm using and the Forums drop down does Not work while the others do work.
I like to drop down and mark...
Providing your are on a windoze machine, press and hold the Ctrl key and then press either the + or - key to increase or decrease the font size. Works on most any site.
I didn't realize this thread existed the other day when I started a thread to let y'all know the pull down menu under the Forums header isn't working. I like to mark the forums read b4 leaving each time I'm here. Thought I'd mention it again in this thread to keep it current.
The Smoke and Spice book written by Cheryl and Bill Jamison promoted really low and slow too. Don't hear much mention of Smoky, or Smoke and Spice, these days either. Smoke and Spice has some good recipes as long as you tailor time an temps to your version of BBQ.
Smoky still has a presence on...
Also known by some as a Grinnell.
Sure are fun to catch.
Most folks don't eat 'em but most who do say to keep 'em alive, or on ice, and cook ASAP or they get mushy.
