So I have tried to blow everything out with no luck. Has anyone ever taken these things apart? I'm a little cautious as I'm not sure what all is inside of it.
I have a 1 1/2 year old Masterbuilt propane thermotemp that will not stay lit.
It also goes way above temp sometimes before the flame just cuts out and doesn't come back on. I have had some luck leaving the bottom door cracked but it still goes out at some point.
Any ideas? I am thinking...
I'm having a hard time finding a cover for my Masterbuilt ThermoTemp MPS 330g. I basically need a cover that is 24x24x43. I see a ton of electric smoker covers but not many covers for propanes.

I smoked a brisket today and it was a chore keeping the temp at 225. I added some screws to the burner but that didn't help any... The knob was damn near set to off and the smoker temp was 220.
I did remove the heat shield and sat a #8 cast iron skillet on a grate from my gas grills side...
I just picked up this smoker last night. I ran it for three hours seasoning it. It held a constant temp good but the dial was way off. At the 175 setting it held a temp of 255, a few mod I am planning.
#1 I plan to add #6 screws to some of the burner holes (hopefully this will help calibrate...
