Been using Lumber Jack for years and like them pretty well. I recently moved and have had to use Kingsford for the past six months. They are very similar to LJ, though a bit more expensive (at least in my area). I would recommend either brand.
That looks amazing!! How do you like the Ooni? I've been looking at the pellet one for a few months and trying to convince myself that I "need" it. Pizza on the pellet smoker is pretty darn good so I was thinking a pizza oven that uses pellets sounds like it would be the best of both worlds.

You typically don't have access to the venue early enough for long cooks which necessitates cooking your brisket before hand. Even if you did have access, I would recommend pre-cooking for your piece of mind and convenience.
Those look amazing! I'm a huge fan of wood-fired pizza. I've started looking at some of the wood pizza stoves on the market but so far having a hard time convincing the CFO that we need another cooker. But I do have a birthday coming up......hmmmm.

Some of us use a combination: a good pellet like Lumberjack in the hopper and a smoker tube or tray of a premium pellet like CookinPellets. You get the best of both worlds.
