Well, my shed is surrounded by about 4 feet of snow, and the patio is just as deep. I am dying to get it out though! They are usually around 3.50 a lb here. 2.99 "on sale"

    Best first smoked dish?

I really think a pork loin is one of the easiest things to smoke. Rub it, or inject it, or wrap it in bacon, heck do them all. Just dont over cook them. Good luck whatever you decide! I just saw you reply while I was typing. Dutch's beans are absolutely killer. You really should try them.

When it goes wrong it goes really really wrong.

Here's another vote for gout SUCKS! I got it in February, and struggled with it until April. Mine started in the joints between the foot and toes and then moved to my ankle. I had it in both feet (luckily not at the same time). I did have it in my big toe at one point. My first doctor gave me...

    Any Bourbon drinkers here?

For everyday drinking ( I dont have bourbon everyday ) it would be Jim Beam Black. I like it for making my bbq sauce too. My other 2 favorites are Wild Turkey Rare Breed and Wild Turkey Kentucky Spirit. The Spirit is the king for me. I'm kind of surprised nobody had the Turkeys listed.
