Was gifted a Masterbuilt 40 in. XL Propane Smoker recently. I smoked my first butt on the 4th and the smoker held temps in the 225-250 range consistently for 6+ hrs. I foiled the chip pan per suggestions. However, the foil is now stuck to the pan (not a big deal as im planning on setting cast...- fishwater
