Bumping an old thread but I used it as a guide for my mods - My Gen1 MES40 had similar issues as the OP's, with Maverick probes showing ~25 degrees lower temps than the MES probe that controlled the heating. In hopes of making the same mod as above, I cracked my controller open but my circuit...- eatemup
