    Turkey Breast

Where does one find Turkey breasts like they use in most BBQ joints? The ones I've seen sliced look huge compared to what I've found in local stores

    150 gallon Reverse Flow

Time was one thing, but there were mistakes made and I will be sending this pit to another person after its mounted. I am going to take the proceeds and tweak the design and make a better Reverse flow on the next one. Had a ton of fun on this and learned a lot or what and what NOT to do.

    150 gallon Reverse Flow

Made some progress and even got the first cook. Bad news. We decided to do a straight through. So this is now technically in the wrong place lol

    150 gallon Reverse Flow

So far not too bad. Most of this tank is 3/16th but it’s handling it alright. If I had money to buy again I’d get the convertible 120/230 machine

    150 gallon Reverse Flow

I used Feldons. But I found that my calculations were not quite to spec. So far I’m close but definitely not straight to formula

    150 gallon Reverse Flow

So this is my first build and I’m sure I’ll mess stuff up but here goes. 150 gallon propane tank 24x83 Going to be double door with a plenum over the firebox for the stack. For the tank picked up and got the firebox cut today. Going to fab up the firebox tomorrow. Question. How much space...

    First build

So not much to speak of, got the tank purged, then a three month trip for work put everything on hold. Hoping to be home in a few weeks to start some downtime cooker building before football starts up in full swing. Questions though now that I've been thinking 1. This tank is 3/16 steel. I...

    First build

Planning on getting out this weekend to start the purging and cleaning. I think I am going to cut this down in half and make two smokers. (my dad doesn't know, but he is going to get  anew one) Here are the calculations I was playing with. What do  the seasoned vets think? I want the firebox to...

    New Pit

So just decided to pull the trigger on a New Bell Fab pit. Updates to come. Decided that the thin POS I have isn't producing the quality I want consistently. Time for a real pit. Who else is running a Bell Fab Pit?

    Lone Star Grillz

http://www.lonestargrillz.com/Vertical-Smokers.html These seem to be very high quality.. but very pricey.. Anyone have any experience on one of their pits. Was looking at the 24"x24" vertical smokers.. I've heard Bell Fab before as well, but they seem to be a little less refined. Thoughts...
