    Baby backs on the WSM

Sorry Im not much of a poster ... but I am a frequent reader and outdoor cooker. I love my Yoder Wichita Loaded, but it is not the best tool for small cooks, such as a single slab of ribs. For that I use my WSM Did a slab of Baby backs today Trimmed up around 2 am when I woke up for something...

    Got the Yoder out today

Thanks for the reply about your Yoder Wichita Loaded experience Bus I use full size splits I own a stick burner instead of a pellet / electric smoker because I like to be active in my smoking, I don't want a "Plug and Play" cooker and have a WSM for when I want something easy. But I do think...

    Got the Yoder out today

It came out good. 1 butt finished about 2 hours before the other. In the "2 hour" pic my ambient temp probes can be seen. I usually cook in the middle 3rd of the cooker, my cooker has a tendency to have about a 30deg drop from the front probe to the back. Not from one end of the smoker to the...

Got the Yoder out today, some Pork Butt

I like it, it has replaced my Therma-Q as my main device When I first got it I had a probe that was flaky but it was a one time thing. Also the probes are inexpensive as compared to other brands. I live in Wichita Kansas and went to All Things BBQ Friday, bought 2 more meat probes and 2...
