Which product do I Need? Using a 36" Smoke Hollow Pro. Propane Smoker. Smoke normally no longer than 12 hours. Also read about trouble lighting and staying lite. How are folks messing up? Don't want to make the same mistake.
Smoke hollow told me this. Open valve 1/2 turn on tank. Then open valve on smoker to start. Press red button to light. Keeps safety valve from setting.
Ok what gives any thoughts? Started to warm up smoker and hits 250 by door temp. Have ordered dual probe. Put meat on and can't get to 200. Just 7 hamburgers and sausage. And no they aren't even frozen. Any ideas. Sounds like it ma be pb&j tonight at this rate. HELP!!!!
Want to put a windbreak around all the legs of my smoke hollow propane smoker, wind keeps blowing it out and gas keeps coming. So I 4rally don't want a bomb.
I have a sheet of GALVANIZED TIN. Is it safe to put around the legs to block the wind. I've heard bad things that galvanized metal puts...
Can someone post a link to purchase an entire needle valve assembly so I can just screw into tank and burner? I have a Smoke Hollow 38" Smoker. I'm one handed and don't know if I can assemble one.
Again thanks for the help.
36 degrees outside and smoking chickens. Burner wide open blew out twice. Built windbreak no more blowouts. Two questions. 1) when blowouts occur does gas auto cutoff? 2) can't get temp over 210. Does that sound normal given tramp?
Thanks for help first time on gas burner...
were Replacing a Brinkman Electric. Found a Master Built Gas from Lowes. Cost is $150 + shipping. Everything I read is they were great cheap smokers. Was looking at Smoke Vault or Dyno Glo. Advice appreciated.
Please move if needed. Replacing electric Brinkman With Smoke Vault or Dyno Glow. SV is rated a little better but would need to purchase more racks. DG is rated a little lower but is full of racks and has rope sealed doors. Any input experience appreciated.
Thanks and Roll Tide
