Yet again something only I will eat. Oh well, More for me. I think I've always had it with a bit of celery seed in it as well. The smoking and horse radish suggestions sound over the top to me, just my style !! Gotta try it.
I was intrigued by the idea several months ago when this came up on a pickled egg page. I don't remember seeing any recipes involving actually applying heat to cook the shrimp.
It's more or less a shrimp cerviche where the cooking is done by the citric acid in citrus fruit juice. In this case we...
I tried some strawberry iced tea at a restaurant and really liked it. So I tried the samething with strawberry ranchers. Tasted real good but had to moderate cuz the tea had a kick. Watermelon worked well too. Don't think I could or would drink it straight up.
Collecting dust ? Thats a shame, but who am I to speak. I found one at a Mexican grocery in St. Charles for a good price and have never used it.
I call it prepping for retirement when I'll have more time than money. Just about 20 months away.
This place continues to amaze me.
We all know our phones and/or google listens in on us to decide what to show us. But this is a bit different.
The boss brought in a case of pork bellies because a customer asked for some ( and as yet has not returned to buy any) We seldom ever bring any in for...
I have never had a fish taco in my life, but I love me some catfish. I just can't seem to wrap my head around Cabbage on a taco. My mind says it's a texture that don't belong. If anything is going to get me to give it a shot, it's this !! Looks good is an understatement to the highest degree...
Virtually everyone with a masterbuilt has had this problem. I think sometimes the chip tray sits slightly too far away from the element to smolder the chips at 130 deg.
Some folks have had some success in reforming or somehow adusting the height of the tray. The next problem or annoyance will...
I had a starter going well but after much abuse I finally ruined it.
Lessons learned, maybe
1. use a jar that holds at least twice as much as the starter you put in it. It will double or more in size.
2. if you store it in the fridge, put a solid cover on it. I did not and after a couple...
Guess I might have to make something like this. I got a used meat saw blade (for boneless meats) from work when the meat cutter decided to change blades. I'm guessing better than 8 feet long. 2tpi scalloped tooth. Turns out they are fairly cheap on amazon, if anyone is looking for a longer...
Dang i guess I've been doing it wrong. I use the low end foodsaver sucker with Out of Air bags (they are thicker). I seal then without shifting the bag, open the latch and close it again, then seal the same spot a second time. I get very few lost seals.
Congrats on the new pup. I've had my heart set on a yellow Lab for a number of years. Maybe once I retire, then I'll have the time to devote to training. That is just way too much dog to be undisiplined, but a true joy when they are.
question on the sazon goya. All my web searches come up with sazon goya achiote y culantro instead of sazon goya achiote y cilantro. the only cilantro is with annato. What am I actually looking for ?
I have never tried it on mine. I'm still trying to work thru some connection issues. Perhaps @zwiller will chime in on this one. He likely knows more about the wifi model than most of us.
I work in the meat dept at local grocery chain. We have gotten a lot of request and have checked warehouse stock many times. There are none in the warehouse to be had. This does seem to be the case for all of our competitors as well. Even turkey breast are hard to find.
Unfortunately nobody...
Given the choices, I have to go with Baseball.
Never much cared for anything involving a ball or teams. I prefer to hunt and fish. Haven't had time for either for years but maybe after I retire.
One thing to add, buying a new smoker is just spending money on a smoker with the same issues that hasn't failed YET !! The PID fixes most of those issues.
