    Good night with the ecb.

Bored out the holes in the charcoal pan to get more air, worked great, held good temp, almost set it and forget it. Got two and a half hours at 240 with some apple wood to smoke a couple tenderloins, good stuff![/IMG][/IMG][/IMG]

    ECB Minion Method?

Tonight I did a test run of the minion method. I loaded the fire pan about half full spread throughout the bowl, and in the middle pocket dropped in a half a charcoal start full of royal oak lump. This got me up to temp quick and held it solid between 220 and to 250 for two and a half hours...

    ECB burning hot.

I'm new to smoking, just picked up the ECB from walmart, mounted the legs to the outside and drilled some holes in firepan, also put small grate in bottom of fire pan to get coals up. After coating the inside with vegetable oil I tossed in about 3/4 of a full charcoal starter of red oak lump. I...
