    A buddy of mine gave me two pounds of venison stew meat and was thinking of grinding it and making burgers. What meat and spices should I mix in with it? I have never eaten venison.     First off i'd like to hope everyone had a happy thanksgiving. I smoked mine in my mes and my mother cooked hers in the oven. Mine was picked clean and hers was barely touched. I seasoned mine(salt, pepper, garlic/onion powder) and she didn't. We both cooked 8.5 pounders.
