    How long to leave rub on ribs before smoking?

    Any thoughts on the pros and cons of putting rub on pork spare ribs, then smoking right away vs. refrigerating overnight then smoking?

    Hello from the Texas panhandle. I'm a retired geezer that has only begun to take up smoking meat. I have a Cookshack electric smoker that I've only used 4 times with pretty fair results. I'll have lots of questions.
