    Beef Brisket Newbie

    I've never smoked a brisket before. I figured I'd see what all the fuss was about. I used Meathead's Big Bad Beef rub. It's raining outside today so I pulled the smoker under the patio. Started smoking at 9:17 am. I'll keep you posted.

    Smoking a smaller butt.

    Smoking a smaller Pork Butt. It's approximately 3.5 pounds. I'm using some apple, celery, onion, and apple juice in the water pan. Hopefully the smaller roast won't take too long. I didn't get started until 10:00 a.m.
