    Any Jambo Owners Here

    I have been looking for over a year for a used one here in so cal, hard to find but I did. Will be making a 700 mile round trip on Saturday to bring here home.     Fire Managment

     I have two pellet smokers and two drum smokers and purchased a Jambo Jr that i will be picking up next week. And have no clue what to do when it comes to starting and managing the fire in the Jamo. Do you use charcoal or seasond wood how much of either? Thanks in adavance

    Brisket on the UDS with the IQ 110

    Set the IQ 110 at 275* threw on a 12 packer Rubbed with salt, pepper and injected with beef broth After 4 hours time to wrap Done and time to cut the point of for burnt ends and time to rest Burnt ends Sliced an ready

    Brisket on a drum at 275*

    I have always done my briskets on a pellet smoker at 225* with good results. Want to do one on a drum smoker at 275* maybe a 14 lb packer how long do you think it will take per pound?

    It tok me a few weeks to get control of the drums temp finely got there. The drum was stable at 234 the whole cook. After one hour Ready to wrap Got to have some blues hog Done and resting man they were good

    It has taken me a couple of weeks to get use to the UDS but i have finely got there. The pit temp at the grill stayed stable at around 234* for the whole cook. After an hour they look like this Ready to wrap after two hours Got to have some Blues Hogs And resting man they were good
