    trouble~~

    I set my smoker this afternoon to smoke some BBB. It started fine, waited an hour and it got to 85, it's 57 degrees out, so did some running around. Came home at 4:30 and the heating element had shut off.  Meat now down at 60 degrees.  Don't know how long it's been there.  Useable? Trash...

    Any advice on new MES for pork butt?

    I just ordered my 30" MES, got a good deal I thought. I have never used an electric smoker before and want to try a butt first. Anything I should know? I have read about the baffle, possible wiring probs...but cooking questions come to mind. Do you still spray after 140 degrees every hour...

    NBBD how much is it worth?

    I have an original NBBD which I am being forced to sell as I am moving. I do not want part with it, but, it is too heavy for me to handle anymore. Any ideas of what it is worth? It is great condition and works beautifully. I live in Northern Virginia Thanks
