    Short Ribs

    Bought 1/2 a beef off my daughters boyfriend. Locker asked me if I wanted the short ribs and not knowing what they are I said yes. Anyone know what these are? Can they be smoked? any tips? Also have the brisket but not sure how much it weights.

    charcoal to lp

    I have a Brinkman Vertical Smoker that is charcoal and am thinking about replacing the charcoal bowl with the burner from a turkey fryer. It should be pretty easy but I have not trying fitting it in there yet. Anyone every do something like this?
