Put it on this morning at 6am. A brisk -20c or -4f out when I put it on. It's gotten colder as the day goes on. Right now it's -34c or -29f..

Is there anywhere online (or in store) that you can buy bulk charcoal?
Even in summer with the amount of smokes being done I am constantly running out to get a big bag..

Decided to do a brisket for Labour Day... watch some CFL Football this afternoon..
Last brisket I did was an overnight one, going to try foiling this one.. see which we like better.
Also trying something new... using Hy's seasoning salt in place of regular salt, then normal Onion...

Bought a TP20 in May... did a few smokes and bbq's on them...
Started to do a brisket tonight and the one probe is showing 190 degrees outside when its a mild 70....
i switched the batteries.. nothing... i tried the other port.. same thing... i used a buddies probe and same thing...

Used Jeff's rub on the outside and injected it with a mixture of Hot sauce, Apple Juice and Beer. Should be tasty...

My wife surprised me with a nice big Tomahawk steak from Costco to do for Father's day! Decided to Smoke it to 125* IT @ 180* on the WSM then finish it on the open flame!! Amazing cut of beef! Took it off the open flame at 135*. Yum.

Decided to try my hand at some rib steaks on the smoker/finish on the charcoal.
Turned out nice and smokey... need to pull them off a few degrees earlier for medium rare though... more of a medium rare to medium. But damn good flavor.

Did some baby backs from costco for my first smoke last week.. easly to maintain temp.. turned out perfect!
Got a bunch of short ribs on right now for a backyard barbecue tonight! Looking forward to...
