First smoke of the year
Well, first smoke of the year for Mothers day. Two racks of baby backs and a ‘rack’ of ribs (mostly undermeat and not ribs, but will treat the same). Wish me luck. -

First Baby Back Ribs & Spare Ribs
Hi Guys, Made the mistake of sending our lass down to the butchers. Asked for Baby Backs and got given what I think are spare ribs? Never mind, got the rubbed up and ready. In the meantime, she went to a different butchers and actually came back with Baby Backs. Result. Note to self: Go... -
Picnic
Hi Guys Sent out lass to the butchers this morning and she returned with 12lb of pork shoulder. Only problem is its the picnic and not the butt!! Will it still cook OK for pulled pork? Never done a picnic before Will take the skin etc off. Will post pics etc just incase it turns out good... -
Wabby First UDS
Hi guys, Building my first UDS. Collected 2 drums today. Not lined. Brand new shiny metal inside. They have had novacote in them so I assume I need to burn out to 'sterilize' the inside? This will also remove the paint from the outside so uts ready for paint afterwards?? Planning on 2 x 3/4"...- wabby
