    Smoked bacon jerky

Added this to my business menu. My pig candy is a big time seller and thought I'd give it a whirl to make pig candy jerky. It came out great! Was curious as to how the fat in the bacon would react, but it was actually fine. I use my signature rub, coat both sides and put them in the smoker for 4...

First Boston butt in the new smokers

Got a few catering orders for this Sunday and go figure, pulled pork and pig candy were the big sellers. I came from propane smokers and used chunks under a cast iron skillet and had a nice steady smoke the entire...

    Masterbuilt question

Hey everyone. New to the forum but not to smoking. Worked as a BBQ chef for a few years but due to a combat injury, I can no longer work. I now have a small, home based BBQ & jerky operation. I was using propane but it was killing my profits and wanted to keep consistent so, I purchased 2 40...

    New member from NJ

Disabled US Army Iraqi freedom veteran. Smoked all sorts of BBQ and jerky for friends and family but since the VA tells me I can't work and I'm unemployable, I've opened shop online mainly selling jerky and rubs, and locally I do some light catering like pulled pork and brisket.
