Made here , but using drops and off fall from shops and mills that use exotics to make mill work , furniture and flooring . All mixed together with the domestic drops and off fall .

First question might be does he have wi fi ? Would need that to keep the software up to date .

If I do a long cook , I do hook up my Signals .
@mowin which brings up a thought , your trouble could be a bad thermocouple not reading the temp...

Like said above , power coming out of the ceiling is all you need for a new fixture .
Patch the hole with drywall . Run some mesh tape on the joint . Get a bucket of joint compound . A 6 and a 2 inch knife , and start applying the compound on to match what's there .

All their pellets are no longer 100% . I beleive the Apple is a blend ,, as are a couple others .
I never worry about that myself . I mix my pellets anyway . As long as it's wood and not oils or flavoring , I'm good .
If you have grape seed oil , I'd use that . Thin coats .
Keep in mind as a rule , neutral flavor , high smoke point , won't go rancind if unused long term .
I use vegetable oil . I keep it in a squeeze bottle .
I get all that way of the future . I avoided this thread , and now I'm in it .
