i had a bad pulley on my counterweight, and it seems to be working fine now i do like the idea of your strap hinge might be something i will change out if it gives me anymore trouble. thanks
ive allways incorparated my firebox into the tank, but ive only built 250 gal tanks i would put the fire box on one end with a tube or pipe to transfer the heat and smoke, but thats only my opinion.
im not an expert but ive built 3 reverse flow and 1 offset smoker i would not build anything but a reverse flow from here on out the temps are easier to control and the whole smoking experiance is improved. its all good
i mounted my 250 gal smoker on a trailer and built a grill out of 2 250 gal end caps but the hinges wont hold up there out of round stock and 3/4 inch pipe should i make strap hinges or something different. any help is appreciated.
